Heart-Shaped Box

Heart-Shaped Box

This book had me spooked a few times. There were several times that I wanted to put the book down because things were getting very creepy, but I couldn’t because I had to know how the story would end.The story is about Judas Coyne, a rockstar and his collection of macabre items that are death-related. Upon being informed that somebody is selling the suit of a deceased man that comes complete with his ghost in an online auction, Judas decided to purchase the suit.
Although he laughs it off at first thinking the suit will be something to add to his macabre collection, he quickly discovers that it’s not a laughing matter when he starts to see and have conversations with an evil ghost that is after Judas and his girlfriend Marybeth.

The ghost, Craddock wants revenge for his stepdaughter’s death and blames Judas for her suicide. Both Coyne and his girlfriend are in the fight of their lives as they track down Craddock’s second stepdaughter to try to figure out how to make the ghost leave them alone. This book is full of secrets that they discover along the way.

  1. I love Joe Hill! He just keeps getting better, too. Also I’ve met him a few times on his book tours. In addition to being a good writer, he’s genuinely a good person.
