Tucker’s Way

When I started this book I didn’t realize it was part of a four book series. I really enjoyed this book and the underlying message of being more resilient and stronger then we think we area

Although there were several parts of the book that were hard to read because they were so so sad and beyond heartbreaking, it was nice to read about the main character overcoming obstacles that include neglect, loss,  abuse, poverty, and having to raise her daughter’s children.

The friendship that Tucker makes with her neighbor Ella, after much effort on Ella’s part to breakdown the walls Tucker has created for herself, is endearing. The bond that these gals form is both special and enviable. I’m looking forward to finishing this series. These books are currently part of the Kindle Unlimited books. This is one of those books that stick with you long after you’ve finished the book.
